Very nice, and of course reading the description, it had me counting and analyzing the whole way through! I liked the 5/4 intro, it had a nice punchy feel to it, and I'm sure there is some 6/4 in there around the middle (rather than 3/4). Also there seem to be sections that alternate between 3/4 and 5/4 (see what I mean analyze, analyze!) Anyway, a very enjoyable piece.

It's an alright solo, but since i listen to a lot of metal i'm use to the amazing solos

Hey mate. Nice phrasing, if you're going to use time signatures you might as well groove along to them, they're more a guideline than a musical quality to adhere to. Basically though I know bugger all about time signatures. I 'feel' the weird timings myself, I'm no Meshuggah analyzer, I nod along to the awesome 4/4 snare and cymbal beat. Liking the changes in timbre, who wants a full eight minute blast beat? Well, every metalhead does really don't they. The only thing that really hit my ears, and I'm a bastard with this, was the tuning of the higher end of the guitar, the low harmonies seemed fine while the "solos" were just annoyingly off, it's a bugger I know. Also I know this was probrably intentional but those restrained parts really just come from nowhere, maybe a bit more of a tail into the quieter parts, some reverb or a crecendo to the drone? Anyway it's your song and I can't really change it, keep rocking (and rolling, ho ho.)

Quite badass man. I also find myself counting out odd time signatures a lot. Anyway, great job I really enjoyed it.
