Whoa. It's been a while since I've uploaded any finished art here. =O
Um...yeah. Nimue Nimure, character belonging to a friend. This was done as part of a mass collab birthday present for him.
It's a little sloppy overall but I had pretty much one day to work on it. I started Sunday morning around 11 am with nothing but the sketch of Nimue (no background) and had it about 99% finished by 2 am Monday morning. I put the final details on this morning...Yeah. For me, that's pretty much record time to finish a painting this size.

beautiful. you have incredible control over colors, and you actually consider composition in a piece. the background is stunning, and your use of purples and reds in contrast to the green of her dress is wonderful.

My favourite part is the strawberry pattern in the circle at the bottom, and i love the way you did the colours in the tree leaves. Hair irl should always defy gravity the way you draw it
