Trying to Fix a Broken Angel

Falling from the skies, a celestial being
Whose magnificent glow has been dimmed by the jealous stars above
A mere human being witnesses her fall
Her bloodied wings, crumpled and twisted
Angelic tears are falling like rain
What can a weak human being do to help such a magnificent creature?

A close friend of mine was recently talking to me about her weekend and how stressed she was about it. She's extremely important to me, obviously, and to see her so down about life simply broke my heart. GENERIC ANGST. Anyways, after she left, I began working on this.

I've always thought of her as a really kind person who's been said to have a lucky life when it's actually very trying for her. A lot of times I'll feel like I'm completely powerless in helping her, considering we live so far away from one another.

Sometimes, I feel like a weak human being in the face of a battered angel, sent here to save me. Instead, I have to save her and am given no tools in order to help me in this journey.

What am I to do?
