Drew this a few days ago in Photoshop CS3 while talking to a friend of mine on MSN.
About The Character
Almatharen, a young boy, exalted for all the wrong reasons had been exiled from his hometown at the age of 8.
He traversed through harsh terrain, battled violent weather conditions to find somewhere he can call home. All hope was lost as he became close to dying.
However, a witch had watched his every move since he had been an outcast. She wanted to use him as an experiment for all her new spells. Giving his own life back as an incentive for being a guinea pig, Almatharen settled in with her.
One night, when the witch tried a new spell on the young boy, the dark powers overwhelmed his body; blinding him and scarring his face, the silver lining being that he was a Warlock, alongside his Mistress.
Crafting a helmet in the form of a cat head which he could see through; Almatharen had what he needed to exact his rage on his former hometown.

> The inner shadows of his eyes look like the portal itself
> The actual eyes aren't drawn in, maybe I should have went with the portal effect. Maybe next time.
