Anyway, this isn't actually a scene in Beheld, especially seeing as Nolan chops his hair off before going up on the asylum roof for the first time with Amelia, who is the girl in this picture. She's a minor character but says a few very important things. It's never confirmed, but we're also led to believe that she sees the beauty auras like Nolan does.

Amelia is autistic and of extremely mixed race--no one knows exactly which because she was simply dropped off at the state home when she was a kid. She normally won't communicate or even recognize the existence of most other people, but she takes a special shine to Nolan...
