As i am too tired right now to fully explain the insperation for this picture, all i will say is that it was for a young man where i live who did not have the will to go on with life any more... and while i do not agree with what he did i can only hope that he has found peace, and that his family is able to find peace in the darkness that he created with such a selfish act.

I think it depends in what way it happens.
As for me, my father had esophagus cancer and lymph node cancer that spread out to his other organs.
There was a 100 percent chance of dying. And he was suffering too much. So here in the Netherlands we have legalised Euthanasia. So that the moment he died, he could die in peace.
Don't get me wrong here, it does take weeks to get it on paper. And 2 doctors have to decide over your faith. Only happens when it's a 100 percent chance of death.
Anyway, enough of the rambling.
I think it's a really nice piece.

Definitely one of your best. (In my opinion. I really like that one with the lion, aaaand the trees, aaaaand the fall colors/sunset. 
Oh! And that piece with Abyssal was pretty awesome too. This one is still the best.) I love your background here, it's really stunning. 
The detail in the grass really makes me jolly, as I seem to have this strange affection for ground foliage. 
(As weird as that is...) The blue on the mountains, the sort of 3D look to the dove, the sun on the hills....I could go on for a long time.
