Little Tears

"No...no please..." the little monk girl whimpered, struggling against the General's grasp. She had begged, cried, screamed, pleaded, but it didn't matter what the sick young woman said or did to save her big brother; he was a convicted felon and the authorities had finally caught up with him. They lined him up against a wall with a group, treated as nothing more than a common, disgusting criminal. Across from them, a row of marksmen knocked their arrows, pulling back on their bowstrings in ready for the execution. Nayeli felt the General's breath hitch, and she could swear she felt him hesitate, but it was a short moment that lasted only a second. "Fire!"

Immediately, the rangers all loosed their arrows with a simultaneous, explosive bang, instantly stealing life from the convicts with inescapably deadly power shots. A shrill scream pierced the air, and Nayeli wrenched free of the General's startled grip, flying as fast as her legs would carry her to her brothers side. "No!! No!! Red, please, no!!" Cradling him in her arms, she wept and sobbed openly, feeling her world close in around her, a large part of her soul dying as the warmth leaves his skin. "I didn't...I'm sorry...I didn't get to say goodbye..." - Zennilynn

P: Right now I've really got nothing to say about this, but it's goin' into my scraps until I can figure out whether or not I'm going to actually clean it up and make into a real piece, not the sketchy madness that it is. Anyway, I used a reference, but I don't know who the original image belonged to, so if anyone knows, please let me know so I can give credit where credit is due. Encouraging critique 'cause I know it needs a lot of work.

As far as the content matter, this is my Guild Wars Nightfall Mesmer, Garrick Red (the dead guy), and Zennilynn's Nayeli, his adopted little sister, and a monk from the same game and place. I felt like drawing something morbid, so here ya go.
