Little Turtle-Poem

Little Turtle hides in her shell
Those memories know her all to well.
Even though it was a year ago,
They scar her to think of them so.
She acted as the male that horrid day,
It's when her life slipped away.
Though, when she starts to forget it all,
She's reminded by this coming fall.
A day that was once beautiful and great,
Had led to her unfortunate fate.
She just adored him greatly so,
But that's why he had to go.
Even if they were to remain friends,
She knows he'll never think of her again.
To think about the terrapin every night,
She starts to think it could be alright.
But when she peaks out of her shell,
She's scared, that again, it will not end up well.
