Payback - Chapter 5

beep...beep...beep....that is all she hears. she regains consciousness, and trues to get comfortableon the hospital bed. the pain in her head is gone, but the dizziness is still there. she was wondering if yesterday was just a dream or not, because when she looked around teh room, her heart sank. the nurse was there, but he wasnt.

"dont worry honey. he'll be back. he had to go to the restroom for a moment," she said. her hopes were raised when she told her that. that means, she thought, that it wasnt a dream. it was real!!at that moment, the door opened and he glumly walked in. as soon as he seen her awake, his expression changed drastically. he gave her his most dazzling smile, and the monitor went crazy. he immediately had a worried look on his face, but all she could do was beam back at him. he came in amd sat on the bed next to her and again the monitor went wild.

"that could be a bit of a problem," she said. he gave a little snicker, and she could hardly breathe. "what happened-" she began.

"after ou took off my belt?" he asked, turning scarlet. all she could do was nod. he explained to her how the pain from her fall had gotten so bad, she fainted, how he managed to get her to the hospital and how the doctor told him she had a concussion. "So," he said, "youre coming home with me."

"what? Why?" emily asked. she began to protest, but the thought of being alone...with him...stopped her. this might not be so bad, she thought.
