Did this not to long ago. I tried my hand at colouring it before, but I'm not very please with it... plus I can't find the original line work for it. >_< Been that long... so I might end up printing the version I have and rescanning it.
Also.. might take me a while to colour... I can't seem to get the layers right in PS7.

Ah well... I'll eventually get it coloured *and yes I do see the errors* :3

Slght, common errors, its really good tho! i like your style ( yes! you have one so dont come with the modesty
), but seriously, you have good skills for drawing.
About PS, i bet its because its a bit noisy ( dirty ) that you are having problems with it, and yeah, not having the original one is a problem, but you can still fix it!
Firist, try adjusting the levels of the pic, at the " Edit/adjust/levels " on the upper bar ..if i remember, there youll be able to make the lines darker or lighter, itll help a lot when you use the magic wand and magnet ( i guess ) tools.
It will also make the dirty lines darker i know, but youll delete em, not yet tho.
Firist, make a new layer, and then choose the whole pic with the magic wand ( just choose an empty are of the pic to choose the non lined area, and then make it invert the selection, on the edit bar, i think ) when you do that, fill the choosed areas with black color ( or whatever color you want it ).
After that youll be able to erase the noise with the eraser tools, and youll find it easier to colour.

Not bad at all! I do indeed like it; especially on the softness and her expression.
Critique: Neck's torqued to our right a bit much; though, if you changed the ears around, it would look okay. The hips seem a tad small proportionally.
