I looked out the window to the city below, The city that had been my home ever since The doctor left me here.
I couldn't help but wonder who, or what crept through the shadows. This City is located on a Rift in time, This city is Cardiff, And this is my story of my life, and death.
**Hidden Danger:Chapter 1**
I stepped out of the cab and onto the wet street of Downtown Cardiff,
"Thanks," I said to the driver tossing him what I owed.
I sighed as the driver pulled away, "It's to early." I muttered to myself as I started down the sidewalk.
I was there because I was looking for someone, someone inmportant.
Store fronts were dark, closed up until sunrise. There was no one, Not even a stray drunkard wandering the streets.
'Maybe I should just give up..' I thought glimpsing at my watch, nearly 2 AM.
All of a sudden the roaring of an engine and the squeel of tires echoed through the darkness, A Black S.U.V thundered past.
I waited until it turned the Corner before I broke into a fast paced run, I cut through ally-ways listening to where this vehicle was headed. I lost it quickly, I don't know why I was expecting to be able to follow it.
"Damn it." I growled. I scratched my head slightly, making my hair fall back onto my face.
I started walking in the direction of Cardiff Bay, Memories of The Doctor came back into my mind as I walked, I breathed in the cold air deeply, As if that would help my thoughts fade. Something moved in the shadows behind me, snapping me out of my memories, As I turned, My right hand went to my empty holister at my side, "Damn it." I hissed narrowing my eyes to focus on the black mass. A un-natural snarl told me to run, I backed up slowly,
"Run!" I heard a familer voice Bark from a distance, I began to run. Not looking back, not listening to any sounds behind me, not even caring who had yelled at me. I stopped dead in my tracks "Wait..." I said looking around at the air in front of me "Was That?...-It Was!" I turned and starting back the direction I had came. "Jack!" I Yelled.
