Peter Pan

Peter Pan

Growin' up is such a pain
I can't even imagine.
While people embrace it with open arms
I stare through it with mine crossed.

And all I see is hectic repetition,
Most others see their self-respect.
While I see slow breaking of my dreams
It is its fulfillment others see.
Is it wrong to want to be a Peter Pan?
Games and toys, adventure all day long?

But reality, Neverland's a lonely place.
No such thing as Wendy and her brothers.
In reality, everybody else grows up.
And in Neverland, Peter Pan's alone.

Big Peter Pan, all alone in Neverland.
