Enker posted a series of chibi character for a fantasy series a while back. I was holding back on coloring them cause i thought he would do them but i couldn't wait any longer
The black mages always wear black or royal blue. I think a offensive mage in green is a nice twist cause green relates to nature where most black magic draws the abilities from. Some people would say that green is reserved for summoners but black mage often summon creatures as well. Silver hair reinforces the pompous look and keeps the mage looking gender neutral.

My immediate reaction when I saw your series of chibis was 'Wow - these look good!!'
You've certainly got an eye for taking a good characterization and contextualizing it into this series of iconographic poses - and that goes across all three of the pictures you submitted today.
