Commission for littlegoblet of her orginal character, Georgina, who is an acrobat.

This was an interesting piece to work on, especially for the costume. And trying to capture a confident air of showmanship and a love for her performance in Georgina. Although both elements took up a good portion of the time and work as well.

The background of the circus tent I think turned out well, even better than I had envisioned even though there was a bit of a struggle at first to get what I was aiming for. I think I was overcomplicationg something that was supposed to be simple. Once I just let it *be* simple, it all clicked into place. :)

As is typical, the details of this are somewhat lost in the 'for the web' size. For instance her costume has a pattern on it as well as the bead-work. Plus in the high-res version the crushed-velvet like texture I painted the costume with is apparent, but softened away in this size. I've posted a details image (http://www.sheezyart.com/view/1887678/), but even there some of them are a little muted from the original.
