“Faith in Godâ€
By George Gonzalez
There isn’t anything particularly religious about this drawing to be honest. (Well, maybe if you count the angel wings on the people in the background, but I guess that’s about it.) While, I have my reasons for doing the drawing this way, and naming it what it is, I decided to just leave it at that for those who view my work.
This is for you guys to interpret so don’t worry there isn’t any wrong answers or anything. It’s kind of open ended. I know some of my previous works and rants seem to always bash religion, but the truth is I see nothing wrong with having faith in people or in God (or Gods) even.
My problem with religion has always stemmed to those whom use the name of “their†God(s) as a way of getting “their†own agenda across. Some radical pastors, fundamentalist priests, right-winged politicians, and ya know, Sarah Palin and Osama Bin Ladin. *rolls eyes* It’s them who give people with faith a bad name because they manipulate scriptures and medieval ideologies as a way to limit other people‘s rights and freedoms in our present days.
Anyway, I’m going off subject here. Sorry.
Tell me what ya guys think and I hope you like it.
