Description

The sweet sixteenth birthday of Batman: The Animated Series got me in a mood to draw the caped crusader against crime (not that that's hard to do.)

This is after a famous promotional image drawn by Jack Burnley in 1943.
(It's not quite accurate, but I did it all from memory.)

Batman by Bill Finger and Bob Kane, DC Comics

Sana Says:

This looks fairly genius, mostly in that it looks like Robin is calling out to whoever is finagling the spotlight and Bats is peeved at him. For the sake of my sanity I'll assume that Robin is wearing tights instead of playing the pantsless wonder.
This is the epitome of classy.

SailorPoipoi Says:

" Yooohooo! come one bad guy! "

" Robin, evil doesn't come when called. I already tried. "

This is freakin' awesome.
I have been watching you for about a year now, and you have submitted at least six great artworks a day. Where do you find the time?

Dellamorte Dellamore Says:

Amazingtastical!

Willgreg123 Says:

"Holy Age Restrictions Batman! We're only 16 years old?! How will you drive the Batmobile?!"
"There's one mobile I keep around for just such an emergency, to the Popemobile!"
"Holy Irony Batman, I thought the popemobile was completely unrelated to you!"
"I'm a rich billonare Robin, I bought the rights to the word Mobile!"
