Name: Mystic, just Mystic.
Age: Much older than y'think. He looks like he's 20something.
Species: Something canine.
Gender: Male
Personality: Clever, slightly pedant, dark, mystic (ahaha) easily annoyed, elegant, loner, calm, silent (he usually refuses to speak unless it's really important.).
Likes: Silence, tea, reading.
Dislikes: magician-wannabes who won't leave him alone, noise, people in general, whenever his hair won't lie down like it should
, being mistaken for a pimp.
Short story:
Mystic's a dark magician who lives inside the shadows. (inside the actual shadows, not like the song.
)
His mother, Elya, who's also a magician/sorceress, thought that the world outside was too dangerous for a child. There was a great war going on back then, involving many different clans and tribes. Elya'd been fighting in that war for a long time, but after losing her husband (he got killed by the enemy) she couldn't continue by herself and take care of her son, so she took him with her into the shadows where he'd be safe.
She taught him everything she knew about magic, hoping that one day he'd become the greatest magician of them all.
Mystic grew up and became very good indeed, but by the time he turned 20 something strange happened deep inside him and he developed a tremendous fear of getting older.
When Elya asked him why, he said that there was still so much to learn and experience, that he'd be dead before he'd had the chance to finish it all. This, and the mere thought of the agony of aging terrified him more than anything else.
Elya couldn't stand watching him die on the inside, so one night she put a spell on both him and herself. The most powerful spell she'd ever learned, the spell of stopping time from breaking down her beloved son and instead make her age much much faster.
She died from old age only two years later, but Mystic is forever young. At least on the outside.
