Anger and Agitation

On July 24, 2007, at 1:32 PM, Beatrice Adams walked in the rain in Greencove Alley, all alone and no where to go. She walked up to the nearest house, 568 Robert Street and knocked on the door. The people who live there, Annabel and Richard Dickenson, say, “We saw the girl approaching. She looked like she was up to no good. What were we supposed to say or do? A girl, all by herself, soaking wet, walking in a dark alley late at night. Seriously, what were we expected to do, say, `Hey, come on in and kill us then take all of our money and valuables? `” Beatrice Adams says, “I was only walking trying to find somewhere to stay for the night…some food to eat? What’s so wrong with that, man? Seriously. The rest is my business.” This quote has led us to believe the girl, for some reason, was left alone with no food or shelter. Parents/guardians are being investigated currently; so far, nothing has been found with the names that Beatrice Adams has given the police. Beatrice Adams says the door was opened for her to find one pair of small rosemary green eyes staring at her like she was bellicose. “They asked me what I wanted in an inhospitable tone and with an aggravated attitude,” says Adams. Adams says she asked for some food, saying she tried to stay at some sort of hostel, but they claimed she did not have enough money even though she had a hundred dollars. She also says they immediately said no, so she tried to make a pact with them; she would give them all of her money if they let her have some food and shelter. The pair of eyes said no, again, and shut the door. Beatrice claims that there were no other houses around, even though there were several other apartment complexes and mansions from antebellum on the same street, all within walking distance. Neighbors Scott Melloncamp say they would have taken her in with welcome arms and left her in the guest room, but they no say they would recommend her to a hospice instead “with the way she’s acted.” After Annabel and Richard Dickenson forced her out, she began forcefully kicking on the door and then ran away when they opened the door to “see what all the chaos was.”
Later that night, Beatrice Adams broke into the Dickenson’s home and destroyed everything. She kicked on the walls leaving footprints (Exhibit Number 1). Neighbors in the Maple Apartment Complex next door were calling them, complaining of the “ruckus.” The Dickensons ran downstairs after being awoken by Adams throwing a lamp at the wall (Exhibit Number 2). They tried to appease her by saying they were sorry, or so they say. However, Adams claims they used several profane words against her and they were hitting her on the arms. The police investigated this statement and found the Adams did actually have bruises on her arms in the places Adams said they hit her. Annabel Dickenson counters this by saying “Me and my husband both are pacifists. We don’t believe in belligerence. We tried to pacify her, calm her down at least a little to where she would stop destroying our house like the children in The Destructors by Graham Greene. I hated that story!”
Beatrice Adams is expected to appear at court on August 16, 2007. End of file case. August 1, 2007. 10:32 AM.

This is a piece I did for English class. She said to write a short story using certain vocabulary words. So when I read this in class, everyone looked at me like I was insane and needed to be in anger management. Enjoy.

I feel bad for Adams. Why was she out in the rain with no food and stuff?
