Whoa, this is amazing.
I love the way you don't have a huge contrast on foreground/background. You really get the feeling he's there, since he's not the focus of the picture.
The only thing I can really pick fault with would be the bottom of the waterfall, because it just seems to be a little bit too dark, but the spray is very bright. I can't quite see the bottom of the rocks, but I can see the top where the spray is.
But, I really love the rest of the water. The top of the waterfall is very soft, it's really nice to look at. Yet the pool at the bottom, is a very rich blue, and my eyes just get lost looking at it.
The sunset is a fantastic choice of timing, I don't think it sets the mood itself, but it certainly contributes a great deal to the picture.
The stars, to me don't quite look like stars, but not to the point I can't tell that they are stars. They seem to be flecked, so they look more like snow, which in my eyes softens them, making them fit into the picture with all the more power. Yet, the cloud plays an important part, as it clearly fits in to make sure that the sky isn't -too- perfect, bringing a more realistic edge to it all. Very nice!
I've even noticed that the grass/moss on the top of the cove looks very windswept.
Truly, the more I look into this picture the more beauty I see in it. And it seems to have made me write the longest comment I have ever written!
