They say that
Silence is golden,
And I already
Know that duct
Tape is silver.
So what,
Pray tell,
Is bronze?
A tie?
A handkerchief?
A gag?
They all work,
Really.
They all induce
The same thing:
Silence.

But why is
It so important?
Or is it
That silence is
Important,
And people try
To hide this
Fact by advertising
It so much.
I personally believe
In the latter
Idea,
Because silence can
Be so loud
And so quiet,
All at the
Same time.

And that is
the Truth,
And nothing but
It.
