It's true avatar is a better series to naruto,if you've watched both you will realize that the characters are cooler and that the settings are much more oriented and resemble real life structures,the drama in avatar far surpasses the one of naruto,prince zuko's struggle between good and bad and anng's jouney to master all and learn.The story concept is even better there is no story concept I can imagine which can beat avatar's, I mean come on becoming the best ninja isn't exactly what everyone will call captivating (I know,I know there's more to naruto but i am talking on the basics here).whilst the avatar's storyline was "interesting" even to the most biast critics.In the end naruto's crap voice is the downfall of his series it's so annoying it could destroy the universe.....

i mean 25 year olds watch avtar its alot better than a cartoon like naruto!

I do agree with you but I do have a question: Are you familiar with the origional Japanese or just the English? The comic or just the show? The reason I ask is because Naruto's Japanese voice isn't bad at all and the comic is infinitly better than the show. Also, every real fan hates the English. Heck, my ten year old nephew watches the fan subs with me instead of watching it on Cartoon Network. And becoming the greatest ninja isn't the basic plot line. Being accepted for your differences is.
Avatar was consistantly good until the last half of season 3. It was rushed and I was highly dissappointed. Both shows have the series have the same problem with over writing. Avatar only had a three season contract so all the plot points that were that were still open at the end quickly delt with instead of explored. I still don't know why Katara forgave Zuko. It really made no sense to me.
Naruto goes through stints of good-bad-good-bad. When it's good, it's really good. When it's bad, it's REALLY bad. It's plot problems are for the fact that Shounen JUMP just will not let Kishimoto end the darn thing, so it just keeps going and going and taking it's sweet ass time to cover something.
I like them both because one is a Chinese fairy tale and the other is a Japanese fairy tale. Avatar's world is large but it remains in Asian cultures. Naruto's world may have ninja all over the place, but the cultures are all unique and the character designs actually have ethnic differences.
I think they're both good. Avatar is more emotionally stirring, but Naruto does have it's moments.
Oh and I'm not trying to be nasty, but I think what Snix means is that in the picture their faces are contorted and overly detailed. And Naruto's body is kinda lumpy.
Is Naruto supposed to look like a 60 year old midget?
