Plaid 'Pinwheel'

Full viewing this will show why pinwheel has quotes around it.

It was originally a pinwheel until my gigantic linearty skills murdered it, so it looks more like a little flower. I wanted to try playing with textures, since I never had before. I scanned one of my favorite shirts for the plaid texture on it. I kind of rushed the painting part of it, since I wasn't really going for something mega serious.

Also, I think I'm getting better at proportions. I'm in a Life Drawing class and I have improved (on things like torso length, muscle placement, etc) but I still have a lot to learn, like.. hands, still, but I'm proud that I drew those without references (not that I really ever used one before) /runon I know the arms are mega long too, I didn't really notice until I started coloring. The head is also a little large. I also have some weird obsession with mega awkward hand poses. This is the first picture I've ever drawn of a chick with jeans, I think it went well ;3 I also scanned my own jeans for the texture, but it didn't show up well.

Also, Daniel from Shear Genius totally did her hairstyle ;3 Cookie for you if you get the reference.
