OK, OK, I know. I'll stop. >_<;

Kiwi prefers the younger Dick Grayson, and so, since I love drawing him anyway, I drew Robin again, this time the first Robin. :) Such a happy guy. I decided to draw him jumping on the head of some random bad guy (#37 to be exact) to save some random damsel in distress (due to political correctness guidelines, we can't number them). Really crappy backgrounds for the win! Anyway, I like this picture; I dislike it. I have mixed feelings. What do you think?

This was just a fun drawing that was little more than a doodle before I colored it, so there are some weird things about it. xD Anyway, Robin and his hot pants, eh?

This is the drawing I've waited for. I think Dick's is always so dorky... Like I said, shading looks really great on this, really popped out for me.

Looking at this though, I don't know if I should wear booty shorts.

I much prefer Tim Drake.

I dunno why. He was so sweet in Knightfall. All worried about his little girlfriend. SO CUTE.

Defending Gotham City one teabag at a time

Dykrentsu Says:

Oh my gosh! How true is that statement.

I don't really have a constructive comment, but I feel like a jerk if I fave something and don't say anything.

TomPreston Says:

I wish you'd stop doing generic figures and empty backgrounds. The detail work on Robin is so well done, that it's just crying out for a fully rendered scene. These haphazard and lazy ways of finishing a piece are sad because you obviously have so much talent. The dialogue is just asking for some sort of detail explaining it in the picture. A stolen handbag or something would have gone a long way.

But as for robin himself. This is by far, the best one you've done of him yet. He's stylized, but he's realistic, if you know what i mean. his head is properly shaped and his body, while not in the most dynamic of poses, is rendered very well and in proportion. I just wish the bad guy he was stopping wasn't so paper cut-out like and that there was a background to enhance the scene.
