Description:
This extremely rare creature dwells in the heart of deep swamps. Despite it's more insectoid appearance, this animal is most closely related to a plant: the Rafflesia flower, the largest flower on earth (to which the petals growing from it's body bear a remarkable resemblance). This creature hides the upper half of it's grotesque body behind it's petals, while extending a proboscis-like appendage (it's butt) outwards. Chemical reactions caused by volatile fluids inside the creature create lights which attract prey. The nodules on top of the creature's butt release noxious gasses which form a toxic atmosphere around the creature. Unwitting prey are soon dizzy and disoriented, giving the creature time to suck it up into it's proboscis. by the time the prey reaches the end of the tube, all that's left of it is a soup of body parts and digestive fluids, making a yummy dinner for the real creature hiding behind the petals...

I hope you guys like it! (besides the fat and lazy background)
