Long ago the four nations ruled in harmony but then the re-incarnation of the avatar attacked. The world was left for destroyed.
but there was still hope, the past avatars seeing the evil in which Avatar Zheng had wrecked upon the world deserted him and embodied themselves within a new being in hope that this avatar would be able to fix the damage which had been done but the young Avatar is in more danger than ever, Zheng is now unable to use the avatar state and no longer has the wisdom of the past avatars. He will now kill to regain his lost power and to complete his conquest of world domination in order to do it he must kill the new Avatar and in order for the new avatar to survive he must train to be better than all those before him…..

“Darkness” that was all poor Kuzon could see. Realizing that he was blind folded he took the time to observe his surroundings with his remaining senses, he heard dull footsteps beneath him and he felt himself slung over a huge shoulder, bouncing up and down in rhythm with each footfall, he tasted cloth in his mouth, he couldn’t talk. Kuzon could now safely tell that he had been blindfolded and gagged with his captor carrying him somewhere. Kuzon could feel an icy breeze on his face and could hear the sad cries of nearby birds, this was a sinister and scary place he was in. Kuzon as most five year olds would do cried in fright the tears pouring down his face. Kuzon feared for his life. Nevertheless his captor carried on despite the tears coming from the poor boy’s eyes until five minutes had passed. There was the creaking of a huge gate opening, the slamming of doors and the slight increase in temperature until finally the blindfold was removed.

Kuzon was sitting on an old wooden chair wobbling under his weight. He was in a great oriental-looking hall, its walls covered with vermilion paper dividers with beautiful gold leaf designs on them so intricately done that a yellow glow was emitted from their surfaces, there were several low coffee tables each with a middle age or elderly man or woman sitting behind them facing each other. Right at the end of the hall was one of the most amazing things Kuzon had ever seen it was a magnificent, gold throne, a very symbol of beauty itself tainted only by the shady figure sitting upon it staring at Kuzon gravely. The figure observed the five year old boy intently and noted him to be rather small for his age, pale skin almost white with messy, longish hair enough to hang over the boy’s eyes. ”Who is this?” the figure said in a gruff yet deep voice, terrifying enough to put uneasy frowns on the rather silent and stiff men and women sitting behind the tables. “This” said the man who captured Kuzon “is the son of the rebel firelord.” “Well-done Mongol, you may now leave” the hairy and muscular man left the room silently. The figure now turned to Kuzon “do you know who I am?” he said “no”, replied Kuzon truthfully. ”I am avatar Zheng, or from the stories your people have told you the dark avatar”. Kuzon gasped as he remembered the stories his father had told him of the man who stood before him, about how he was an avatar who turned bad who took control over the scum of the world and forced them to form “a dark legion” and with his new found army he took over most of the world, the remaining living inhabitants of the nations retreated to the landmass known as the fire nation, Kuzon’s father accepting the refugees with open arms. Kuzon imagined the violent battles which had taken place and the huge amount of blood shed, his daydreams quickly interrupted by Zheng’s voice. “My sources tell me that you are the new Avatar, son of the rebel firelord, destined to save the remaining goodhearted people of this earth! Am I not correct boy?”
“N-n-no! I can only firebend, oh noble avatar!” cried Kuzon in fear of angering this evil man before him. ”The prophecy cannot be wrong! ”, replied Zheng in a maniacal voice, he paused taking deep breaths and calmed his mind, he remembered that he must keep his temper in check lest he destroy this beautiful hall which he had taken so much effort to build. ”Very well”, Zheng said” you can keep your life but you may not leave this palace and then on your fifteenth birthday I shall take your powers from you and then I shall rule the world…” He stood up and walked past Kuzon and out through the door, muttering under is breath, how could this be possible? He had seen the boy tell the truth when he said he was not the avatar yet the prophecy claimed that the new avatar was in fact the son of the firelord living across the seas yet he reminded himself that the prophecies were always correct so he reluctantly continued the walk to him bedroom, only stopping to stroke his six year old daughter’s head. Little did he know that Kuzon was telling the truth, It was not the boy who was the avatar it was his little brother who had just been over the sea, son of the rebel firelord ,destined to save the world from its destruction.
