An illustration for Fox Amoore's song, The Lone Coyote, done as part of a trade: one illustration for him per song for me.
I was a little hung up on the background, but forced myself through it. I worked partly from a photo taken during my trip to Drumheller. Despite some remaining issues with the background and legs, I'm pretty happy with it :3
8-9 hours Adobe Photoshop CS3.

That really is an amazing pic (I saw all the WIP's on dA) The Bg ist just awesome and you have so much details put in this work... just one thing... it might just be me and my way of looking at things. But both hind legs, especially the right one seem somewhat of the ground and not as if they are really standing on it. I don't know how I get this impressions...

But I really love this pic

Thats stunning! The coyote looks so real; you capture fur perfectly. I see this as front page material and I hope it gets there

That is NICE...not only is the coyote himself wonderful, but the lighting of the sky is just GORGEOUS!

cool! I can see that design on one of those lame-o artistic shirts and i know it sounds like a major diss but believe me it's really a major compliment
Gerkinman Says:
Its nice but the wolf looks completely detached from the background and its really distracting.
