100 words of Fall

Brisk wind blows over two thousand crunchy scarlet colored leaves. These colors are flames dancing on a mountain side. They swirl through blue skies far beyond. Light breezes whip empty branches about, tossing them back then forth. Bitter air, laden with the thick stench of golden rot, fills everyones mouth and nose. Time for watching anything living thrive at their greatest moment on Earth. Ribbons of color begin fading, leaving ashen dust behind. Turning one side of earth, from full lush life, to cold solitary death. Such details create perfection for which many find refreshingly like fairy tales yet real.

I'm taking a class called creative writing this year. It's really fun and this was one of the assignments. We have to write 100 words about fall. WITH NO FREAKING REPEATS AND STAYS AT 100 WORDS!!! It was hard but fun. I find it quite stunning how it turned a crappy descriptive paragraph into a piece of art.
