Well, Plush-Mello(DA) gave me a personal blessing to do my own take on this cosplay with the Coca-Cola model. I decided since we're currently in the middle of the Olympics to do the "Olympic Version" of Matt with the Coca-Cola add. The hardest part was deciding on the layout. I also dreaded using a ruler since I always fear my lines not being straight. Luckily I had a T-Square ruler laying around; making my life easier.
Gold and red are used mainly because they represent the colors in the Chinese flag. But they ALSO double for Coca-Cola's signature color AND the gold medal in the olympics. If you look closely on the rings I have the order of the colored rings WRITTEN on them. Also is "888" which is the time the olympics officially opened in Beiijing, China. Oh, that and the date of the drawing is there too.
PS- I know the coloring looks uneven in places but I'm still happy with this because it's concept over technicality. All text was hand-drawn and not traced.
PSS-This is my first Death Note fanart EVAH! I'm surprised Matt ended up being my first. I would've thought of at least 4 or 5 people that I would've wanted to draw before him.
