Wow! I really improved my fur drawing skills on this guy! I think he's amazingly cool!
Anyways, I always wanted to draw a 'ninja animal'... I suppose this guy i somewhat inspired by the Redwall series, but this is mostly my own brainchild... anyhow, his name is Sumi (from sumi ink) because his tail reminds me of a paintbrush... He is a red panda samurai/nomad.
Red pandas are rapidly replacing puffins on my favorite animal list... They look like crosses between foxes and a raccoons, but i suppose they're related to pandas in some way or another... I should look it up!
Sumi wanders the mountains, serving his own cause, righteous or otherwise... He mostly fights with tooth and nail, but obviously he has two badass katanas to kick some booty with. Enjoy!

I like the combination of the cinematic pose and cartoonish proportions. The fur texture is indeed nice. How did you make those nifty color boundaries in the sky?
A more appropriate term for a samurai/nomad would be youxia. The western equivalent is a knight errant.
A request: limit picture width to 1000 pixels or so so people like me can see the whole thing in detail version.

i find the weapons very good too
but it bugs me that it takes away from the realism too have them together
