The rain tore through the sky like bullets, pummeling at her pale skin and dampening ivory locks despite the hood on her mangled outfit. It was an exact replica to the one she had worn for so long....Until the one known as Argoth had bought her pretty dresses, and Walker had seemed to approve...
But it appeared she had been wrong.
He did not...He did not feel that emotion she could not name which burned into her heart. At least not for her. Isil thought she was going to vomit, but found she did not have the strength for it so she merely wept. Sobbed silently as the tears burned at her cheeks like the rain. The rusty swing squeaked out against the thunder, and her petite form did not flinch as the sky was suddenly so, so bright....
For a moment she wished that she had gone blind and deaf as well. If she had no senses...Then there was no way to contact him. No way to see his face, to hear his voice, to speak his name...To touch him. If she could achieve that, then maybe the thought of loving him wouldn’t hurt so much.
She did not notice the figure limping through the rain and darkness towards her, and she was too lost in her morose thought to even hear him sit beside her on the decrepit city swing set.
“Isil....†Not even a storm could drown out that voice; so smoky she considered she might be able to touch it.
“Walker...!†Lithe bodice whipped toward him, such shock tingling in her fingertips at his presence that a hint of color danced upon her cheeks.
He was here.
He was actually here.
And she felt cared for.
Because she was.

i was watching perfume, which is why the title is what it is...lol good times.
