Forgotten

Forgotten

Unspoken words,

Hidden in the fog,

Created by the rain,

Pouring down on the flame,

That burned away the peaceful memories,

That I had left of you.

Although your still there,

The person you were is not,

Almost like a soulless clone,

Someone I don’t know,

Years have passed,

We never cross paths,

Until today at least,

You greet me with a smile,

I frown with trouble,

Of seeing your unfamiliar face.

“Have you forgotten about me,” you ask,

I shake my head with sorrow,

I will never forget who you use to be,

But I wish I could forget everything you’ve become to me.

This poem is about a person who use to be my friend but in the end she isn't my real friend. she treats me like a replacement for her other friends when they won't talk to her.

I can relate to the words very much and I think it flows very well. Great Job!
