Just because I haven't submitted drawings doesn't mean I haven't been busy!

This particular piece took me close to 2 hours to complete. It seems like a simple design but if you watched me you'd be amazed how I didn't end up stabbing myself with the stickpins by the end, haha. The most challenging part was lining up the pearls and the crystal. Second most challenging were the series of macrame knots to secure the pendant to the artglass circlet. Figuring out the positioning of the pearls was hard. I knew I wanted a theme of circles to run with the idea of bubbles in the ocean.

I broke many a nail, too. I don't see how any artist could possibly have longer fingernails or a manicure. It's nearly impossible to do things without snapping, chipping, or breaking a nail. So next time I do these I'm going to have to make sure i cut my nails. It hurts like a b*tch.

Vintage glass pearls love them I do!
