Battle of the Bits 3xTheme IV entry. The theme for this was "Shmup".
It scored 1st place out of 43 entries!!
It also scored 3rd "Shmup", 2nd "h00rayz!! =D/", and 1st "Chip in Pants".
Well, look at that! I put a ton of effort into this, and it paid off. The downside is that this took so much out of me that I don't think I'll be composing again for a while. I wanted to do a 3rd tune for this compo, but I couldn't write anything even remotely decent after this.
But Famicompo is happening right now, so I guess we'll see.
3 square waves, 1 noise/tone channel; the third square wave can be turned off to control the noise/tone channel in producing more than the 3 presets, all tuned to different octaves of A.

MOD2PSG is awesome! I should really get back into it. It's a shame that the TI SN doesn't have a very low range for basses. Oh well.
