I suppose I can submit this now.
It's been done for about a month or so and was done for Sac Anime's digital art contest for August '08.
Howeveeeerrr.....
after seeing the final entries, this thing's definitely not gonna win anything. xD But that's ok. I got 3rd place with my Sky Goddess piece and never did anything with the gift card........

I forget how long this took. The bg was like 18 hours alone (it was the original bg for my falcon pic, HA!!). Then the angels took around maybe 10 hours considering how huge this image is (this is only a scaled down version here on SA).
I had to hand draw them first 'cause the contest requires a pencil sketch. So when I scanned it at 300dpi....I kinda left it huge...and then went over the lineart and colored it.
But y'know...it's so dissapointing. I downloaded this free human pose maker thingie and went from my custom refrence poses EXACTLY (minus the hands and feet 'cause they didn't have the detail I wanted on them. But I really don't like how the anatomy looks on these. I think I like my anatomy-ignorant pieces better, as stupid as that sounds. = / These two just look weird. Maybe it's my coloring...?
Y'know for this one, I'd love some pointers if you've got any.
