Adkin Von Dräven was born on planet Igliak to a Lombax man and Cazare woman; his father, who was one of the many famous engineers from planet Fastoon, was called on a mission during the Great War to aid his brethron in defeating the Cragmites when Adkin was only 6 years old... He never saw his father again.

As he grew older, Von Dräven [along with his two friends and aspiring engineers Nate and Madeline] began drabbling in the complex technology that his father left behind [much to his mother's horror, seeing as their slip-ups and failed inventions almost always resorted in some sort of mass chaos] and the trio soon grew fascinated with their tickerings. And, as time went on, Adkin became more eager in finding out about the Lombax heritage. Tales began to spin about the Great War; how the Cragmites perished by the hands of the Lombaxes, the mysterious disappearance of the dominant species years later... A secret that the Lombaxes had hidden from the rest of the galaxy. So many different theories rushed through Adkin's head, and even though years had passed since his father's departure, he vowed to find him as well as the answers to these infernal rumors.

... Then an attack was launched on Meridian City; troops of a species unlike anything Adkin had ever seen raged war against his home, destroying everything in their path, for reasons that at first were not clear to any of the inhabitants. But as a screen appeared over their city, a fiendish face casted its glare upon them all and cried, "I am Emporer Tachyon, soon-to-be ruler of this entire galaxy. Prepare to fall at the hands of the all-mighty Cragmites!"

Cragmites? This caught the young hybrid as odd; weren't they supposed to have perished long ago? He kept his eyes on the Emporer as he continued, "Troops, be sure to keep an eye out of that infernal Lombax, Ratchet, and his robotic friend... If you see them, be sure that you END the Lombax legacy."

Adkin crouched back to his hiding spot, turning the words over in his head as he murmured, "Lombaxes were supposed to have vanished. Maybe... My father may still be out there."

[Left you on a cliff-hanger, did I not? haha. Oh, and the robot chilling on his left is called "Orkii". It was a creation made by Adkin's father shortly before his disappearance that assisted its master by command.]

Told you I had R&C fanart in hand, even though at this moment, it's an OC. The real stars will be drawn shortly.

So, now that I have a new scanner, the colors are looking better than ever. I'm loving the fact that you're now actually getting to see what the pics are actually supposed to look like, seeing as *knock on wood* this scanner hasn't ate any of my coloring jobs yet.
