Brainstorm 1

Started with the concept- decay of humanity... for a grind(?) metal band... staying away from stereotypical (so I ixnayed the skull that was to be eating a canary)... and trying to convey an idea without being boring or cutesy etc...

So. I started with the concept of the caged bird (In Flemish Renn art it signified virginity and other virtues in women) using it rather broadly. But abandoned that. The skull would have been swallowing said bird. Also had one not pictured here of a bird in a ribcage. Things I may just paint later on my own.

So then I went forth with other ideas. Serpent strangling justice, and raven stealing the 'seed of humanity', shadowy figure crushing the 'seed of humanity' etc.


Ok. First wave of brainstorming over.
