I wrote this song entirely in 7/8, and boy, did I ever have a load of fun. I went and walked around town first, to gather some ideas so 7/8 wouldn't sound so... wrong. After I got the main drum part figured out (and tinkered with it some more to get the right idea out) I decided to do something that I've heard of people doing (Mudvayne I've heard do this in their earlier albums) which is playing a 4/4 time signature (supposedly) while having the other time signature match up the eighth notes in the background, and give the feeling that the song is in 4/4 until the pattern resets.
I do that several times in the song; see if you can pick it out

It should be pretty easy. The name is just supposed to show how backwards and weird this sounds to me. It sounds awesome to me though and makes me wanna play some drums, but it just feels a little off. And I absolutely love it. So "lawless" = "wtfz".
Keep it easy Sheezy;

I'm trying to remember, isn't Pink Floyd's song "Money" in 7/8?

I hear the restarts you're talking about--I THINK that's one at around 37 or 38 seconds. I think it sounds really cool!

I like this, and the 7/8 time signature gives it an original and refreshing feel!

I agree with the above comments. 7/8 time gives it an unexpected flair. Great work. :)

Pretty cool man. It's always nice to hear people playing with time signatures and even using polymeters. Though shame on you for using Slayer, haha.

Congratulations on the feature, thank goodness we have music on the front page again. I've already commented on this, but still very enjoyable to listen to.

First of all, this is super awesome~ Enjoy your feature.
Second, what file format should audio be in to upload on here? Because Sheezy's not letting me upload any audio because it "doesn't accept the file format".
