Well! It seems I had lost some of my skills on paper and pencil because i was working with my tablet so much... And then it looked weird to me so i was all emotional and thus had art block. I'm dealing with it better now. This is something i started a while ago and just finished!
Anyways, the concept was "a bird licking a HUMANNN" but that was weird cause my friend was trying to say something brilliant but ended up sounding stupid.. =.= So it changed to "a bird an extremely beautiful male specimen and summer evenings".
I'm no longer sure my art can really be called ANIME or MANGA. Its verging on realism more. And i cant draw birds. Congrats me for trying!
I also tried actual backgrounds and the blur thing that ur eyes do to you. The background looked incredibly boring and crappily made so i added in stars to the sky and fireflies on the grass. I dont think thats possible at that time of day and area (for the fireflies) so i guess its "surreal"... >> LOL!
AlSO! I want to go for a more contrasted look so you will see a change starting from this project. I hope i can change for the better! :)WELL! ENJOY!

I'm loving that bird in the background, it reminds me of something I can't exactly remember right now (go me -3- ) but it's lovely! And the the realism and colours on the girl are real nice!

I don't usually get excited over computer art, but this is beautiful! It reminds me of a childrens book illustration. The hair is amazing and the composition is really nice.

honestly... anime won't get you too far in college or anything
and it's always better to develope a unique style other than your average anime
