I really like what you did to Nickel, she looks very adorable. :3 But I like all the new designs for the characters, it was just clothing and hair that was re-vamped in this, right? Start working on episode 2 dammit! xD
You've changed your style a tad. I really should practice on paper more (my line shading is BAAAAAAD! ) But you've brought out a lot of character, and perhaps time and place - you took the fashion of a Cowboy Bebop theme mixed with the maturity of Ghost in the Shell. I think this is going to be good if you construct a narrative for these characters and background art...
