Wish List (Frontpage):
- Tab for "Featured Artwork"
- Not all Art Slots would be full for newbies so they aren't overwhelemed by art.
- Newcomers should get a flash tutorial on all the functions of Sheezyart, as a transparent overlay of the actual pages.
- Icons in user UI
Ideas for skins:
- Slow internet Skin without unneccessary bling.
- OverTabbed: Everything in tabs
Wish List (Art Pages):
- Voting system without negative Score, voting options from 1-10
- Full view or comment before Voting is enabled.
- Swapping of comment pages without reloading the whole page
- AUTO FULLVIEW checkbox.
- Automatic Picture Resizer like in some forums.
Wish List (Profiles):
- Swapping of comment pages without reloading the whole page
- Drop down user interaction menu. So you can just go and send a msg, unwatch etc from your watchlist or any other user icon on SA.

Although I'd have to say, if the popular section is to remain there, the up/down system should remain. I mean, SA has already had more than it's fair share of debate regarding the method of choosing which art reaches the popular section, and the up/down system has worked rather well. Although, yes, downvoting can be seen as discouraging to some artists, it helps keep the popular section in check.
As an example, a picture got featured few months back which was nothing more than a doodle. The SA community was generally outraged and completely flooded the submission's comments with complaints and undue harsh criticism to the artist. Nothing could really be done, since the users have no way to "downvote" a Featured piece, and the artist just kept getting rude comments until the Featured arts changed. Had this picture been in the Popular section, it would have likely been simply downvoted and removed from the section, sparing the artist quite a lot of embarrassment.

I can think of a few things I'd like changed but thats being nitpicky.
Simplicity is a must with these sites though, some internet newbies might not understand how your idea would work.

I think there's a bit too much here..scaling down the amount of art sections would be a good idea. However I quite like the bar at the top with "Browse Chat" etc. [:
