"...He bowed three times, and they kissed each other, and wept with each other; David wept the more. Then Jonathan said to David, 'Go in peace, since both of us have sworn in the name of the Lord, saying, "The Lord shall be between me and you, and between my descendants and your descendants, for ever."' He got up and left; and Jonathan went into the city." (1 Sam. 20:41-42)."

The love between Jonathan and David was explicit, in the bible. Consult an older, more rightly translated version of the book of Samuel, should you care to investigate this for yourself.

I've been staring at this for a few minutes now. Those are magnificent ink skills. Do you use a brush or a pen?

Oscar Wilde Says:

Once again, I may say it, Aubrey. You shall never disappoint me. Never in this life, never in the next, and most likely, you didn't in the one before this (my chronology is really really "off"). It's beautiful work. It really is. If only you weren't so ill.

I'm not drunk.

Lulu la Feyne Says:

Interesting. The style is great - mediaeval? The narrative is very clear in the drawing, particularly in the faces and hands. I like it lots! I'll even fav it.

Your style inspires me to try ink. It's been a style I've always admired.
