Quiet One
He is the quiet one,
He rarely reveals his feelings,
What his mood is,
And the reason why he is like it.
He does this because he thinks nobody cares,
Rarely has anybody shown concern,
So he takes it in and tries not to show it,
So he doesn’t worry others.
But now it has gotten too great,
He is having trouble concealing his pain,
He silently cries for help,
For he still has trouble asking.
And when there is help,
He doesn’t know what to do with it,
Because he’s still getting used to help,
For he rarely got any.
He may not immediately say why,
It may take time to get him to speak,
But he will not.
He thinks that by speaking,
He make others worry about him,
A burden he doesn’t wish for them to have,
Of something as small as he.
Now he fears what his life will be like,
Will others continue to show concern?
Will he be able to go to others for help?
Or will his life come crashing down on him?
The makes him wary of the future,
He starts to doubt if he can make the change,
And falls back into old cycles,
All the while silently asking for help.
Can anybody help him?
He who has trouble expressing himself,
Showing his true colors and nature to others,
Fearing what people may think of him.

Men know that they really don't care, and if they tell them, they seriously won't care.
