I am still not happy with Altair´s colors, he either turn too yellow or too orange >> (He is the king cheetah)
The black (very big leopard) is Quickshade. He and Altair isen´t the very close friends
Again this is an animal society and the big cats works together sometimes or take advantage of each outhers´ skills. The cheethas in the background works as hunters

but hunters for bigger cats. There is a sabertooth on the rock.
Don´t be surprsie if I change alot in the story example; design of the characters etc. It isen´t finish yet.

The details in the background are lovely, though the image is not quite balanced right with that blank focus in the centre (when compared to the far sides of the image, of course). Your colour scheme works very well, and the extra colours in the shadows really bring them out nicely. But your light source is inconsistent across your background, and a little off in the way the black leopard is shaded heavily around the top of its neck, and the front of the cheetah's chest fur.
The cats in the background are a nice touch, but as they are far back, it may be worthwhile to lessen or remove their outlines to make them fit in with the rest of the background. And an old trick when drawing interesting groups of characters is to differ the poses between them, even if they are all walking they could perhaps be at different stages in their walk cycle. Of course this is a bit more work for such a minor detail!
Lovely expressions on your foreground felines. It can be hard to give human features to animals in that way, but it has worked well. But be a bit careful - the panther's face is rendered well in profile, but you seem to have some trouble with 3/4 view on the cheetah. His right eye - the one farthest from the viewer - is bigger than his other, which ruins the feeling of depth. His muzzle is far too centered for 3/4 view as well, perhaps it could be moved more to the left. Maybe it would be worthwhile studying some references to see how that 3/4 view works for animals of that structure.
Once again, though, stunning background. There is just enough detail without it being overly distracting, and the lighting works well where it is consistent, particularly in your colour choice. The reflective rivers are a nice touch.

I love the background, the fade effect at mountains is awesome and rocks are very realistic, gj.gif)

, so I guess I don't have to write why is that... Just wanted to second his post :3

Altair's colors are OK imho, but he looks odd at this picture. I totally agree with
Another thing is composition, I can see part of everything, river, cliffs, characters... But I don't know where are they comming from at all. Well, it can be just me, dunno, but if you're going to use this as panel in comic, make sure to reveal more of that location (maybe one panel without characters, just with landscape would be great).
The cats in the background drops no shadow.
Water in middle of forest looks totally different than watter in river
Hmmm
I guess that's all, hope I helped somehow :)
although it's not your best piece, it's still pretty cool :3 So just fix some little bugs in there and it will be allright
