Solar War Tales: The Beginning of the War
Solar War Tales
-The beginning of the war-
Earth; 2121 AD, the pride and ugly gem of the Solar Empire. Once a blue green marble in the sky, it has become less than that. Were once it's seas was full of life, where the forests were lush and old, and the land was fertile the wars crushed all of that. 2024 AD marked the largest scar on the earth's unharmed skin, the third world war of humanity. A war that was rekindled by the loss of it's most natural resource and the gain of a rarer and more powerful resource. The Tilantear Crystals provided power beyond man's wildest dreams and was the source of more terrible and powerful atomic weapons. Large enough to supply the largest missiles, but fragile enough to be made into a hand held weapon. These rare gems were found deep under the water of the earth's ocean where no man could think to get them. Or at least, that is what one would hope till it was found by unmanned machines that could bear the stress. When the seas were boiled and the forests were crushed by the awesome power this small gem had to offer, man fled to the moon having lost it's home. The moon's core, ironically enough, had more Tilantear to be readily available. So man made it's home in the gut of the moon, tearing out the barriers between the precious Tilantear and to the homes of the awaiting humans. There man thrived and rebuilt itself, making a great naval armada and unifying under one flag for the very first time. Then, humanity went to the mother lode of the precious red gem, they went to colonize the barren planet Mars. The unification only lasted for so long as the workers under and above the surface of the red planet began to revolt. The bloody Martian Revolt lasted for 4 long years till a resolve was met and the workers earned their rights. After the revolt, Humanity began to pick up the pace to disperse itself across the stars around it's home. So humanity went to the farther planets such as jupiter and saturn, only to stop at Neptune. As soon as man conquered the frozen moons of Neptune, they discovered the greatest invention any race could dream of in a life time. The ability to go faster than light.
Of course, like all inventions of humanity, it did not last long outside the use of combat. By 2072 AD, not even 8 years after the dawn of the new Star Drive refitted ships, Man found it's self in another war. The first contact war shook the very boundaries of humanities will power and determination to stay among the stars. The war with the Tyrusiens started on the moon Tritan of the planet Neptune. The colony itself was in no harm, but had instead fired the first shot when the Tyrusien ship protruded a device that was mistaken for a weapon. Instead of humanity letting the Tyrusiens make their next move, several weapons of mass destruction were made from the Tilantear crystal. These long range missiles were refitted with star drives and sent to planets that held massive populations of Tyrusien people. As with any war, massive amounts of people died, but in this war people were instead slaughtered for no reason what so ever. This thus began the first contact wars between the human and Tyrusien people. Astrographically, these two races were only slightly separated, since they both lived in neighboring stars. But the First Contact wars was one of the most devastating, Missiles and ships were sent across the void and met in battle. The Tyrusien people, who were a part of a project that went missing long ago, were in fact partly human and most of their technology was based upon that of the humans. It was at this fact that both races were evenly matched with technology aside from one crucial fact. The Tyrusien ships were in fact faster and used a different energy source from the Tilantear powered ships. And aside from the human ships, the Tyrusien ships used Energy weapons which were long banned from use since World War III on earth. This gave the Tyrusiens a slight upper hand during the first contact wars and thus caused a shift in consideration of the use of Energy Weapons.
Eventually the battle began to move towards Earth since the colonies were either defeated to the point of retreat or captured by the opposing Tyrusien forces. 2079 AD marked the Battle of Tears as the Tyrusien forces came to earth along with another unidentified foe. A race the Tyrusien calls the "Mewtaid" came upon the organic wings of giant creatures meant to traverse the expanse using Tilantear dust to coat their wings. The Mewtaid were beat back by the Tyrusien general, Kenneth Aldrax and his troops using hand held Gauss Weaponry which had come fresh off the line of experimental weapons. The Mewtaid and the Tyrusien forces were beat back by the Earth Defense force and the war came to a complete halt at the end of 2088 AD. The Tyrusien colonies were captured and humans begun to turn the colonies into a thriving home. But this only lasted so long since by 2092, the Human economy took a nose dive into severe depression. The Economy was only changed by the new movement of the Solar Empire which took the technology capable of making Star Docks and opened up new methods of trade across the galaxy. Newer diverse races begun trading and gambling in the newly built Casinos and staying in the Hotels built within these large watering holes spread out in the Solar System. The Star Docks trickled the money into the Solar Empire's hands and by 2108 AD Humanity moved to the farthest star they could seek. The Arcadia star system became home to the new colonies and the growing lust of the Solar Empire for blood shed. Soon the Solar Empire spread out from star to star, finding Alien races and empty worlds. The Aliens were conquered by the growing might of the Solar Empire, and the Empty worlds were made full with Human settlers. By 2120 AD the Solar Empire had grown economically and territorially, taking what they thought was their right full claim to the universe, turning Earth into a museum attraction for Alien tourists in either the Solar Empire colonies or further beyond. Now it is the turn of the century, the year is 2136 AD, And the class settled after the history lesson, several children raising their hands to what they had learned. The Teacher smiled and she pointed one finger, the nail having a glossy blue finish sat in her chair.
"Yes?"
The child she pointed to was a Tyrusien and the detail could be seen with the pointed ears, fur like skin and prominent tail. The child stood up, very timid and shaky and wearing a blue jump suit, the standard attire for all school goers on the station, Gallager 6.
"W-why didn't the humans just make friends with the Tyrusiens? I mean...it was a mistake..."
The teacher smiled and applied a yellow green patch to her neck. The children didn't know their teacher was on drugs, nor did they need to as she cleared her throat to speak.
"You see, the Pre-Empire civilization did try to make friends with the Tyrusien people...but they simply ignored the pleas and went to war, so we did what we do best...beat them at our favorite game."
The bell rung as the teacher gave off her blood thirsty smirk and the children were sent off to their parents, some of them terrified and others saluting the crest of the Solar Empire as they passed it. The multitude of different colored jump suits in the station of Gallager 6 was almost like a river of a rainbow. No two jumpsuits were alike and not many people didn't wear jump suits. These people were part of the Solar Empire military and stood with smirks at the passing crowd of people as they stood outside a bar, holding their multi-colored brews. A 15 year old by the name of Charles Draug, also known as Chuck passed into the bar along with several bounty hunters he was training with. The Bounty Hunters laughed and teased as they passed him a weaker brand of Alcohol that was a light blue, He took the drink and their challenge as he finished off the brew. They sat there, telling old bar joke and nonsense to pass the time as they waited for the next payday to come when a broadcast on one of the wall mounted screens interrupted the feel of the bar. A shuttle containing the combined presidential power of the Solar Empire was somehow destroyed by an Alien vessel which had settled over Earth. The Vessel was one that was not recognized and the whole Solar Empire Navy was launched as riots broke out in Russia and half way across the planet. Draug looked oddly at the screen and the Bounty Hunters grinned at the new promise of work as they left the bar, paying the tab and singing old tunes from long ago. Little did Draug know that in 5 years he would become part of the Solar Empire military and try to fight the resistance on Earth along with the unknown Alien forces.
Half way across the territory of the Solar Empire in the system of Rygel, a Young boy of 14 was still in training on the planet of Rygel 5. When the news hit the planet, the Star Warriors had become of no more use and the entire colony went into a mode of Paranoia. Gomoo Leonard, one of the few cross bred Colonists had seen the colony turn from safe to hostile and made a vow to himself. 5 Years later he went to the dreaded start of the Solar Empire, the colony of Tritan, looking at the bones of his ancestors that had tried to refuel on this moon. Tritan had become a ghost town since then and the only people who lived there were thinking of joining the Resistance on Earth and try to beat the Solar Empire in a chance to regain their lost home. Gomoo found himself joining the people and meeting the young June Aldrax whose father was a famous Tyrusien General that had died a long whiles back. The two begun to bond and by the time they had reached Earth on the Resistance training transport which was once a Solar Empire Freighter, they had become lovers. But as soon as they reached the ground, the time for love and survival become stronger as they begun to fight for a cause that was not truely their own. But like trained professionals, they fought like the hardest and strongest warriors they were, making the Solar Empire wish they had never become so dictator like in it's methods. Little did they know, that several months into the war, they would meet the one man that would set them free.
Deep within the confines of the main Solar Empire HQ on the planet Earth, a General sat plotting his next moves with the help of the computer. The General who had been through many years of combat on distant planets loved warfare, delighted in the taste of the screams. He loved to hear the red blood splatter on walls as he crushed his opponents skulls with his boots. But what he truely wanted was a true warrior to fight, not these guerilla combatants with tinker toys for weapons. Zero Prime, the Super Computer of the compound looked at the General with the look of a real tactician. He knew that if this war was to end, that he would be scrapped, so he kept giving out plans that could be turned to either side in a snap of a finger. Turning battlefields into potential death traps underneath the eyes of the General, waiting to see if the General would win, or fall into the abyss of battle. Along with the General and Super Computer was the team of Solar Empire scientists working with the Human Weapons and turning them into more than what they were. Shelby McClellan, the head scientist since her mentor Wedge McCloud had left, looked over the group of scientists. Inside her own heart she was starting to doubt the actions of the General and was looking for the real reason as to why her mentor had left to the cold waste lands using an experimental weapon. Little did she know that the 3 human weapons would find the answers for her, the twins and the hunter together.
Several people will be linked to an event so big that the planet will quake from his boot steps, quake in response to the boot steps of a War Hero in his own home. The entire resistance including a man who had given up the comforts of his home to give the Solar Empire a taste of their own wrath, accompanied by a companion. A Hacker that joined the Resistance for kicks and was an expert in his trade. A man seeking redemption, using his own invention to bring down those that he had created in servitude to a corrupt government. A pair of performance Ninjas whose business was starting to take a plummet to the extremes due to the recent war. A couple of a colonist from the Anihara colony and a man altered by his own father so much that his body became a weapon. A lone wolf who had lost his home to the nuclear fires of war and took to traveling the deserts of Africa in hope of answers to his problems. A famous singer of an Outer Galactic band and the wife to a famous War Hero would follow this man to the one planet where all the troubles in the known universe seems to start. He's known by many names across the known universe in different languages. The Green Comet, The Alien Dragon, The Nuke Mystro, The man who breathes plasma, The green metal plated boot of the Tominoseian Federation Common Wealth, The God of the Soul, The Green Reaper, The 1000 year old man, Old Kick Your Ass-full, The Green Knight with dragon wings, And one of his favorites is The Green Gun Slinger. Right now, this man of many names and who links all these peoples together is riding on his own metal comet, down to the planet earth.
But did anyone guess that he would get Amnesia? Guess we didn't see that coming now did we? These are the tales of a twin sided war that one man would end by just doing what he normally does. Kick ass and chew bubble gum...even though he really doesn't chew bubble gum at all. This is the Solar War Tales.

As an introduction to the future events, it works wonders. I see good young Chuck Draug is around, didn't expect he would be in this prologue.
I'm looking forward to seeing what we'll get in the future. ^^
