Goodnight Goodbye

The night
Was cold
You said: “There’s nothing to be
Afraid of.
Come on.
I’ll show you.”

Outside the wind picked up the snow
Swirled it at our feet
Past our noses
Sparkling as if the stars had fallen from the sky
To kiss our faces
Goodnight
Goodbye

I should have said goodbye
Had I known we would be run
Breathless
Through the bent black branches
Driven into the darkness and
Onto our knees
I would have said goodbye

Because there was something
To be afraid of
I knew
And I let you go

I’ve never really let you go

Um. Yeah.

Some of you know what this is about. may have mentioned it before.

But her time speaking for me is over. It's my turn now.

It's pretty.

A little emo, but still very pretty. You should make a living out of this stuff.
