Very nice idea! I love the way you've shown the curvature of the ground. Even though inaccurate from a pure scientific standpoint (you would perceive an even flatter, more expansive horizon than on Earth due to the incredible size required for a structure to encompass a star), from a more artistic point of view you do very well at capturing the concept.
