Spike and her enemy Moth.

Kayy, so Spike and Moth [or as they were originally known: Narissa [Spike] and Analese [Moth]] used to be best friends, and did everything together. Then one night when they were 5, loads of children when missing from their neighbourhood. Some were experimented on and mutated [like Moth], others were trained vigerously to become assasins [like Spike]. Of the ones experimented on, only 5 out of 37 survived. They were given codenames depending on what anime/insect/etc DNA they had inplanted into them. The assasins were trained so hard that only 3 of 25 survived. Of these, they were given names depending on fighting style, etc. Spike liked sharp objects, ergo her nickname.

Now, the two organizations were always on bad terms, therefor, Spike and Moth hate each other. Though, they don't even know that the person they fight is even their childhood friend.
