Okay, so this one's been completed for several months, too. It's been done for longer than the last sketch I posted here, but I decided the other needed to be posted first as a sort of... introductory. You know how the homeless guy, Kiji, kinda looked like some sort of elf for what little of him you could see?
Well, I have no idea what the hell he is. He could be a were, could be descended from a druid-like race, could be something completely different. I don't know. I just know that he has multiple alternate forms, and is, for all purposes of this description, a fox-wolf.
In all truth, this picture, and the very incomplete one posted before it, originally had absolutely nothing to do with each other, until I decided to develop Kiji after his appearance as an elf-like humanoid in my sketchbook. Then I started piecing things together, and as I came to the conclusion that this was one of Kiji's forms, then also decided that he would be blind from an incident in his past involving his eyes being removed from his head.
Happy, isn't it? Mindless rambling aside, I do like how I composed this sketch. So far, as far as poses and completeness go, this is probably one of my more advanced pictures--the most being Charandh for its own factors. It was somewhat experimental in that I was giving it a sense of pseudo-motion by making it smack in the middle of a shifting sequence--which way he's shifting no one really knows--and that I actually made it so I had to draw his hand. I'm still awful with hands for the most part. x__@
Other than one little thing about his humanoid leg that I can't even explain, I'm proud of the whole thing. Everything came out nearly perfect by my standards. For this purpose alone, the awkward feel of his humanoid leg REALLY bugs me. T__T
Kiji is mine. His name belongs to the craziness in my brain. Steal and you will suffer a horrible doom consigned to the pit of rabid wolverines and "goth" Paris Hilton.
