My character Belgaer.

Belgaer is calm at all times. She approaches things with a cool mind, always observing before reacting. She's somewhat machine-like; it's almost impossible to get an emotional reaction out of her. Everything has to be rationally explained, logical and realistic, or it doesn't exist.

If it doesn't exist, that doesn't mean Belgaer will fight to prove it. That just means it doesn't matter. Belgaer knows what's real and what isn't, and she doesn't care about those things that aren't. She usually doesn't even care about the things that are. Mostly she cares only when things affect her.

This does not mean she's selfish--things that affect other people or pokemon do affect her. She will feel guilty if she doesn't help someone in need, she'll just rationalize how much guilt she'd feel versus how much harm helping them would cause to herself. If helping them would mean she'd lose a wing, she wouldn't sacrifice that--she's not dumb.

She's incredibly bright, and will think things through fast. What might take someone else hours to figure out, even days, Belgaer will realize within minutes (this might have to do with the whole 'I can read your mind' or 'I can see into the future' thing). What she does with that information depends on the situation, of course.

During a battle, Belgaer tends to stay out of reach of opponents, preferring non-physical attacks over physical attacks. If things get physical, she's either very angry or desperate. She's not above using dirty tactics--in fact, she loves them. Taunting and abusing your foe is the best way of winning, as far as Belgaer is concerned.
