Starscream was very reluctant to pose for me...avoided me for a while when he caught that gleam in my eye I get when I'm about to tackle someone for a pose. But I got him! He's been muttering something about revenge all day, but I don't know. Gotta keep the muses happy otherwise I'm screwed when it comes to drawing and writing. Bastards. >.>
After I put the sketch up I imediately went and started his lineart then found it hard to detatch myself from my tablet. I just finished it after....who knows how long working on it.
Coloring him while listening to Poison (Groove Coverage) really doesn't bode well for mental imaging...depending on your point of view. u/////u Not saying a word.
I realize the pants aren't shaded, but it looked horrible after putting up the dark cover to make his lines all glowy. So it was either glowy lines or shaded pants. Needless to say what I went with.
Showed the sketch to my mum yesterday and she laughed, saying he looked like 'oi...I have such a hangover'.
